EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now looking at move for 6ft 4in France Olympic Team international defender!!

Cole Palmer was back in fine form for Chelsea and is one of the reasons that they put in such a good performance, with the stats proving this as well.

Palmer was also involved in Chelsea’s first goal of the game in the opening minutes, as well as some good work by Romeo Lavia and Pedro Neto to setup Enzo Fernandez to provide a lovely finish to get things going.

Chelsea played well

Even though The Blues had just 35% possession against Liverpool yesterday, they won the game 3-1 and played very well.

Liverpool might have had control in terms of the ball, but Chelsea were the ones in control of the scoreline and it was a great overall performance from Enzo Maresca’s side.

Reo-Coker not convinced though

Despite that, former player turned pundit Nigel Reo-Coker is still not convinced about Chelsea and had some words of criticism to offer.

In words picked up on X, Reo-Coker said:

“They’re still in it but there are still a lot more questions about this Chelsea team. Liverpool took 45 minutes to get going and then missed some real good chances.

“Whether it’s the Premier League celebration hangover. Chelsea were let off the hook.”

I don’t agree that Chelsea were let off the hook at all, we had more chances than them and we were deserved winners in this game, anyone can see that.
