Speaking ahead of AC Milan’s visit to Slovan Bratislava, Tammy Abraham admitted that the squad knows what is required to win the Champions League.

The past few seasons have been difficult for Abraham, and when he joined Milan this summer, it was hoped that it would be the start of a new chapter for the Englishman. However, it has not gone that way.

Instead, his start to life at the club has been filled with difficulties, and questions are already in place about what the future holds for him with the Rossoneri continuing to evaluate other options, most notably Santiago Gimenez.

On Tuesday, though, he will be given an opportunity to prove himself as he will lead the line with Alvaro Morata absent. A rare chance, but one he must take if he wishes to continue past this season with Milan.

Sitting alongside Paulo Fonseca, Abraham spoke about several things in his pre-match press conference, and his words have been relayed by Milan News.

On tomorrow’s starting XI and his form…

“I am happy to be here. We have a good team and now I want to show my qualities: we expect a good game, we have to be confident after a beautiful victory against Real Madrid. We are working hard and I am confident.”
