The right-winger joined the Tigers on a permanent deal from Norwich City in the summer of 2024 and made 36 Championship appearances in his debut season, scoring five and assisting three times.

However, his first season with the Humberside outfit was tainted with controversy after commenting on Portsmouth's social media post, congratulating them on their New Year's Day victory over Swansea City, having played a part in Middlesbrough's winning goal over Hull on the same day.

A loan move to Spain offered a fresh start for the 23-year-old, but that did not go to plan, and now he is seeking a move where he can revive his career.

It has been reported by talkSPORT's Alex Crook that both Pompey and Hull would like Kamara to return to Fratton Park, but his agent may have other ideas.

The winger is represented by IG Sports Agency, who he has been with during his move from Norwich to the Tigers and his subsequent loan move to Getafe.

It is fair to say that Kamara's career has not taken off in the way he would have wanted, but at 23, he still has plenty of time to turn it around.

Given how last season unfolded for the winger, his next move is of significant importance as he needs to prove himself and rebuild his reputation in the process.

While Charlton have also been linked with Kamara, a move to a familiar environment is what the player needs to thrive, and in Portsmouth he would certainly have that.

The 23-year-old played every single game of Portsmouth's League One title-winning season under manager John Mousinho as he recorded eight league goals and 10 assists, the best returns of his career.

Not only would Kamara have the guidance of his former manager, but he would also have the support of a fanbase that mostly wants him to return, and that love from the entire club is something that cannot be underestimated.
