FC Red Bull Salzburg are loaning Adam Daghim to German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg for the remainder of the current season.
The 19-year-old Dane, who joined the Red Bulls from Aarhus in the summer of 2023, initially played for partner club FC Liefering, where he scored six goals and provided six assists in 22 matches. Daghim also proved himself in Salzburg's UEFA Youth League team, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists in 7 matches. In the 2024 spring season, the speedy attacker moved up to the FC Red Bull Salzburg squad, where he has since scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists in 56 appearances.
Rouven Schröder, sporting director at the Red Bulls, said on the transfer:
Adam and his management have approached us several times recently and made it clear that he will not be playing for Salzburg again and that a transfer is an absolute priority. We have always emphasised that we only want players who are fully committed to the club and who share our vision, which is why we agreed to a loan deal.
