Ademola Lookman returns to Atalanta training | OneFootball

After a dramatic transfer window, it seems like Atalanta and Ademola Lookman have both buried the hatchet as the Nigerian star returned to training with the club today. This seems to be the result of a fruitful meeting with new manager Ivan Juric following which the forward has trained with his teammates for the first time today since Juric took over. Lookman reportedly indicated to the manager and the club that he was ready to give his 100% after a transfer window which saw the player go on strike and the club vetoing an approach from Inter. As per Gazzetta.it, he has also told his teammates that it was a difficult summer for him and that he has now regained his composure and motivation. Captain Marten de Roon had earlier expressed that the squad would welcome Lookman back into the fold. This is a welcome addition of high quality for Juric ahead of the weekend game against Torino, which the manager having bemoaned a disparity in quality post his side’s 4-0 Champions League loss to PSG.
