Argentina will face Mauritania at La Bombonera on 27 March, with a second match on 31 March still to be confirmed.

The federation announced in a post that kick-off is at 20.15 on Friday, and said ticket sale details and prices will be released tomorrow.

The second fixture in the March window remains undecided and could involve another African opponent.

Argentina had initially planned to play Spain in the Finalissima in Qatar, but the game was suspended indefinitely due to the war in the Middle East and a lack of agreement between the federations.

A proposed friendly with Guatemala at La Bombonera then collapsed because Guatemala had already agreed to play Algeria in Italy, and FIFA prohibits teams from playing in two continents during the same international window.
