Tunisia will make its debut in Group C of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) against Uganda.
Crowned African champions just once, back in 2004, the Carthage Eagles enter this clash with a clear mission. They're aiming to win their AFCON opener for the first time since 2015. For five consecutive tournaments, they've failed to clinch victory in their first match.
On the other side, the Ugandan team was the first to land on Moroccan soil. They'll be contesting their eighth AFCON finals.
The Carthage Eagles and the Cranes will face off on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, with kick-off set for 20:00 GMT.
The match will be broadcast on beIN Sports, the official competition broadcaster—whether on beIN SPORTS 1 in France or on beIN Sports Mena MAX 1, 2, and 3. New World TV, Canal+ CAN, and Canal+ Afrique's 100% CAN channel will also air the competition. The host country's channel, Arryadia, serves as an official broadcaster as well.
