After returning to Ajax Amsterdam following a failed medical with Real Madrid, Abdellah Ouazane is now set to sign a multi-year contract with the Dutch club.

Tracked by Real Madrid for months, young Moroccan talent Abdellah Ouazane has ultimately returned to Ajax Amsterdam. He will commit for the next three years. Considered one of the brightest prospects from the Dutch club's academy, the young Moroccan midfielder came very close to joining Los Blancos this summer, but ultimately failed his medical examination.

A few days later, the Dutch press revealed that new tests had clearly shown the 16-year-old prodigy is fit for elite-level football. Real Madrid tried to revive the deal, but in the end, it was Ajax who pulled off the coup by bringing Ouazane back, according to Sport. The player now joins the Ajax first team as a professional. Ajax’s medical staff have also confirmed he meets all the necessary physical requirements.

He will officially sign his contract in the coming days.
