Al Ahly opens the door for Emam Ashour

Al Ahly appears open to the possibility of letting Egyptian international midfielder Emam Ashour leave.

According to information from Africa Foot, the Cairo club's management recently held a meeting where both parties reached common ground.

The 27-year-old has been given the green light and can depart Africa's most decorated club during upcoming transfer windows if he wishes.

But there are conditions. During the aforementioned meeting, Al Ahly's management set Emam Ashour's price at $12 million for clubs interested in signing him.

This appears to be the final chapter in the recent tension between the two parties. Last week, Emam Ashour was suspended and fined $30,000 after missing the team's trip to Tanzania for the fourth round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
