Barcelona are braced for another major push from Saudi Arabia for Raphinha.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr are preparing a blockbuster package to tempt the Brazilian away from Catalonia this summer.

The two Saudi Pro League (SPL) giants are willing to offer Barcelona around €80 million (£69m) for the 29-year-old winger.

Backed by the financial power of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), both clubs view Raphinha as a marquee signing capable of further elevating the league’s global profile.

They are also prepared to quadruple Raphinha’s current net salary, presenting him with one of the most lucrative offers of his career.

Despite the enormous financial incentives, Barcelona remain confident of retaining the Brazilian international forward.

Raphinha signed a contract extension until 2028 last year and has repeatedly expressed his commitment to the club.

He previously admitted that a substantial Saudi offer tempted him in 2025 before a decisive conversation with Hansi Flick convinced him to stay.

The winger has since become one of Barcelona’s most influential attacking players.

After registering 34 goals and 23 assists during the 2024/25 campaign, injuries limited his output last season.

However, he still bagged 21 goals and seven assists in just 33 appearances.

Barcelona should resist offers for Raphinha

SPL clubs may believe Barcelona need money to replace Robert Lewandowski.

However, it is difficult to see Barcelona seriously entertaining the idea of selling Raphinha.

Players capable of producing elite numbers are rare, and Raphinha belongs in that category.

Barcelona have signed Anthony Gordon as part of a long-term refresh, but he should complement Raphinha rather than replace him.

Letting one of the world’s most productive attackers leave after securing Gordon makes little sense. Proven match-winners are not easy to find, and Barcelona already have one.
