Saudi Roshen League clubs competing in Asia have been sanctioned for breaches in recent matches, with Al-Hilal receiving the heaviest punishment while Al-Ittihad avoided punishment.

According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, the AFC Disciplinary Committee penalised sides across the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup. Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli were sanctioned in the Champions League, and Al-Nassr were punished in the AFC Champions League 2.

Al-Hilal were fined $35,000. Their Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez received a $20,000 fine for failing to attend post-match media duties after the eighth-round league-stage meeting with Al-Wahda of the UAE.

Al-Ahli were fined a total of $9,250 for arriving late to the pitch before facing Shabab Al-Ahli in the eighth round of the league stage, and for allowing unauthorised personnel into the stadium.

Al-Nassr were fined $1,750 after players were late returning to the pitch for the second half against Turkmen side Arkadag in the first leg of the round of 16.
