Milan full-back remains reluctant to engage with an offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, who are also studying two alternative left-back options in Serie A, Football Italia understands.

Al-Hilal have been pushing for a move to sign Theo Hernandez from Milan in the summer transfer window, and had tabled an offer worth €30m plus add-ons to the Rossoneri, plus an enormous contract offer of around €20m per season to the player himself.

Al-Hilal are growing slightly impatient, though, as they aim to have a new signing in place in time for the start of the FIFA Club World Cup next week.

Angelino and Nuno Tavares options for Al-Hilal

As revealed by Gianluigi Longari, Al-Hilal have recently begun to sound out a potential move for Roma left-back Angelino as an alternative option to Theo Hernandez.

The Spaniard is versatile on the left flank and is able to cover in a number of roles, including at left-back in a back four, as well as at wing-back and on the left of a back three.

Football Italia understands that Roma could be open to a sale in the event that an appropriate offer comes in during the summer transfer window. Angelino’s stance remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Lazio left-back Nuno Tavares, who was nominated for the Serie A defender of the season award after his first campaign in Italy, is also being evaluated as a potential option by the Saudi powerhouse.
