Kerim Alajbegovic showcased his quality with a spectacular World Cup strike for Bosnia and Herzegovina amid links to Roma and Atalanta. According to Football Italia, he has been linked with potential Serie A moves to both clubs.
The 18-year-old, who turns 19 in September, dribbled past two Qatar players, then blasted in from well outside the box to give his side the lead in this evening’s Group B match in Seattle on 24 June 2026.
Bayer Leverkusen developed him in their academy, then sent him to RB Salzburg. He delivered 13 goals and four assists in 44 competitive appearances this season.
Leverkusen have activated a buy-back clause worth €8m. He is not expected to stay, as he is reportedly eager for a Serie A move.
Roma would be his preferred destination, especially after securing Champions League qualification. Atalanta may yet move first, with greater funds available.
