Today, Wednesday, 26 February 2025, is a day that Alessandro Pietrelli is unlikely to forget.
The 22-year-old midfielder, currently in the Juventus Next Gen side, received his first call-up to the senior team for tonight's Coppa Italia quarter-final against Empoli.
He has been with the Bianconeri for just over a month, joining in the winter transfer window on loan from FeralpiSalo, featuring in five appearances so far for Massimo Brambilla's team, while also scoring a goal in his first game as a starter, away against AZ Picerno.
Born in Bologna, Alessandro grew up in Cesena's youth academy before moving to his hometown club at the age of 15. In the summer of 2022 he joined FeralpiSalo, with whom he made 57 appearances between Serie B and Serie C, 21 of which came in the current season, topped by five goals and four assists.
Now, after a number of convincing performances with the Next Gen, the young starlet has earned a call-up to the Juventus First Team.
Congratulations, Alessandro!
