“All Of The Chivu” – Former Brazil Star Channels John Legend In Praise Of Inter’s ‘Perfect Imperfection’ | OneFootball

Hernanes found an unusual way to praise Inter Milan and Cristian Chivu after their 4-1 win over Cremonese, by quoting singer John Legend.

Speaking to DAZN, via FCInter1908, the former Nerazzurri midfielder reflected on the team’s display and the tactical balance achieved under Chivu.

“As John Legend sings, All of the Chivu,” he joked, before explaining his point.

“In the song there’s a line – ‘perfect imperfection’. People say perfection is unreachable but that’s not true.

“In Inter’s imperfections, they played a perfect game today. Never making mistakes is impossible, but this was perfect imperfection.”

Inter steamrolled a newly-promoted Cremonese side, who arrived at San Siro unbeaten.

Davide Nicola’s side beat Milan at the Meazza in their first game back in the top flight and were hoping for a similar feat against the Nerazzurri.

However, French forward Ange-Yoan Bonny blew away the visitors on his first start after his summer move, when he followed Chivu in a move from Parma to Inter.

Hernanes also discussed the speculation linking Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman to Inter.

“Lookman at Inter? That would mean changing the margherita pizza – you don’t change it, you don’t touch it,” he smiled.

“Inter have their system, their identity. Even a great player like Lookman would have to adapt a lot to fit in.”
