According to Americayya.net, América will again be without Dagoberto Espinoza, Isaías Violante and Henry Martín for Wednesday's Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16 second leg against Philadelphia Union.

Espinoza and Violante are due to return during April, while there is no firm date for Martín. There has been talk for some time that he is close to a comeback, yet he has not returned to the pitch.

Víctor Dávila and Luis Ángel Malagón are not counted here, as they are expected to miss virtually the rest of 2026.

América arrive on three consecutive wins, while Philadelphia are on a run of four straight defeats.

That does not make this a simple assignment, but América remain clear favourites and hold a 1-0 aggregate lead.

Under the new Concacaf Champions Cup format, América have never been eliminated in the Round of 16, having knocked out Chivas on a couple of occasions.
