Ahead of Saturday’s trip to face Manchester City, Daniel Farke has been speaking with the media at Thorp Arch to give an update on the fitness of his squad.
The boss shared news on Anton Stach who went off injured in our clash with Aston Villa, as well as another blow in central areas with Sean Longstaff set for some time out, and finally a late call on defender Sebastiaan Bornauw.
“Overall, many players in training but Anton Stach will definitely miss the Man City game due to his following of the concussion protocol," Farke began.
“If everything works out, he will be allowed to return to training on Sunday.
“Sadly Sean Longstaff is expected to be out for almost four to six weeks, he suffered a calf injury in the last game.
“Sebastiaan Bornauw has missed the training session yesterday so today will be a late call about his availability and we'll see if he's able to join us in team training tomorrow, we'll make a late call with him.”
