Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid reached the Spanish Supercup Final, but players and staff members were involved in a scuffle with Mallorca last night. ‘It was unnecessary,’ said the Italian tactician.
Ex-Italy international Ancelotti, who is already the most successful coach in Real Madrid’s history, has reached yet another Final by beating Mallorca 3-0 in the Spanish Supercup semis on Thursday.
The Merengues will meet Barcelona in the Final.

Real Madrid’s latest match against Mallorca was marked by renewed tension between Vini Jr. and Pablo Maffeo and ended with a brawl between the two sides.
“It was an unnecessary fight for both teams,” Ancelotti said at a press conference, as quoted by Marca.
“It makes no sense. It was unnecessary; the game was already over. I don’t blame anyone, neither the Mallorca players nor the Real Madrid players. But a ‘fight’ like that was unnecessary. The players were a bit heated and I tried to calm things down a bit with Maffeo. Well, in the end nothing happened. But that ending wasn’t necessary.”
