Anderlecht ‘to offer’ Ndiaye loan extension to Schalke with option to buy | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that Anderlecht are ready to offer Schalke another loan for Moussa Ndiaye, adding that the shift could be linked to Schalke's rumoured interest in Robin Gosens, who plays the same position.

The 24-year-old Senegalese full-back was a mainstay in Schalke's defence last season, impressing throughout their campaign. He helped the Royal Blues secure a return to the Bundesliga.

A permanent deal had looked unlikely, with Anderlecht said to be seeking a significant fee. The Belgian club had previously wanted between €3-5 million.

The proposed deal is said to include an option to buy despite those earlier demands.

Such an outlay is unrealistic immediately after promotion, but could prove more attainable next year if Schalke stay up.
