Corinthians open their Brasileirão campaign against Bahia at Vila Belmiro on Wednesday at 20:00, with Rio Grande do Sul referee Anderson Daronco appointed to take charge. According to Meu Timao, the appointment was made by the CBF.

Daronco has overseen 46 Corinthians matches, yielding 20 wins, 12 draws and 14 defeats. He has awarded three penalties against the club, plus 95 yellow cards and five reds to their players.

His most recent assignment with Corinthians came in December 2025, the first leg of the Copa do Brasil semi-final against Cruzeiro at the Mineirão in Belo Horizonte. Dorival Júnior’s side won 1-0.

For the match, Daronco will be assisted by Maira Mastella Moreira and Michael Stanislau. Lucas Casagrande is the fourth official, and Paulo Renato Moreira da Silva Coelho is in charge of VAR.
