Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has confirmed he is happy at the Vitality Stadium in the face of interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs are considering Postecoglou's future at the club after a bitterly disappointing campaign which has left them 14th in the Premier League table with just nine games left to play.

If they chose to part ways with the Australian, Spurs are expected to turn their attention to Iraola, who has emerged as their preferred candidate from a shortlist which is said to also include Fulham's Marco Silva and Brentford boss Thomas Frank.

Iraola, however, reiterated his happiness with Bournemouth as he expressed a desire to keep leading the Cherries to new heights.

"I want to do my job the best I can," he said. "I don't know how far we can go, where we will finish.

"If I don't do the job very well, [Bournemouth] will find someone else who does the job - it is like this in every job.

"I am really happy here. We have a great opportunity for the first time in the [club's] history to go to [the FA Cup] semi-finals. That would be amazing for me personally and for the club to achieve new heights."

Fulham boss Silva also distanced himself from the speculation but did leave the door open to a possible future move.

"I'm happy at the place I'm at now," Silva told Sky Sports News, before adding: "We all have ambition, I am really ambitious."
