André brace turns tide as Corinthians climb to ninth | OneFootball

Corinthians came from behind to beat Grêmio 3-1 at the Arena do Grêmio, rising from 15th to ninth in the Brasileirão table as André struck twice and Kaio César sealed it.

Gabriel Mec put Tricolor Gaúcho ahead in the seventh minute, finishing from close range on the counter. André levelled in the second minute of first half stoppage time with a strike from outside the box.

After the restart, Timão surged as André finished from the centre of the area (65.), before Kaio César swept in the third (67.), both created by Yuri Alberto.

Tricolor Gaúcho goalkeeper Thiago Beltrame was sent off with a straight red (75.).

Timão produced 24 attempts with nine on target and held 59.2% possession. Tricolor Gaúcho registered 10 attempts and won four corners.
