Andreas Pereira headlined Palmeiras' victory over Internacional, creating the opener for Gustavo Gómez and scoring late, while Vitor Roque also struck. According to Globo.com, Abel Ferreira kept the same XI for a third straight game and his side controlled much of the contest.

In the first half, Gómez rose high to head in Andreas' corner. Moments later he produced a key block in the six-yard box.

Internacional levelled through Ronaldo with a top-corner finish that left Carlos Miguel with no chance. The goalkeeper later made two big saves at the very end, having already produced a smart first-half stop.

Vitor Roque put Palmeiras back in front at 1-1, outmuscling two defenders, dribbling inside the box and finishing with a deflected shot over Rochet.

Late on, Luighi won the ball on the edge of the box and released Lucas Evangelista, who slipped Andreas Pereira in to add the third.

Khellven was disciplined defensively and Piquerez balanced his flank well. Murilo impressed alongside Gómez as the partnership continued to settle.

Marlon Freitas helped build counter-attacks, while Allan drove breaks but lacked the final pass. Maurício struggled to influence the attack and was substituted.

Flaco López was busy but inefficient, and Ramón Sosa could not impact after coming on. Jefté and Giay arrived late and were not rated.
