Andrey Santos has hailed Moises Caicedo as “incredible” and revealed the advice he gave him when he arrived at Chelsea.
Santos joined Chelsea back in January 2023 from Brazilian side Vasca da Gama in a deal thought to be worth around £13m.
The 21-year-old had a failed loan spell at Nottingham Forest before being sent on loan to French side Strasbourg for 18 months.
Santos impressed last season for Strasbourg, and scored ten goals as the Ligue 1 outfit qualified for the Conference League.
The Brazil international is now part of the first team set-up at Chelsea, and made his long awaited debut at the Club World Cup.

Santos scored his first Chelsea goal against Wolves last month, and has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season.
Competition for places is fierce in midfield and Santos confirmed what his preferred position is, before he revealed the advice the “incredible” Caicedo gave him.
“I’m so happy to play with Moi [Caicedo], he is incredible,” he told his pre-match press conference.
“When I arrived here, he’s always told me to keep training hard, keep improving.
“I did and now I’m so happy to see Moi improve, improve, improve. So he is amazing and I’m so happy to train with him and play with him too.”
Midfield is arguably Chelsea’s strongest area of their squad, but given how long the season is, Santos will get plenty of opportunities.
