Ange Postecoglou is set to become the next manager of Nottingham Forest according to reports.
The Australian will replace Nuno Espírito Santo, who was dismissed by the club last night despite bringing European football back to the City Ground.
According to journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic, Forest will swiftly bring in former Tottenham Hotspur manager Postecoglou as the club's new manager.
The 60-year-old was sacked by Spurs despite winning the Europa League last season and in total oversaw 101 matches at the helm of the North London club with a record of 47 wins, 15 draws, and 39 defeats.
Since then, Postecoglou has been linked with numerous jobs across Europe and Saudi Arabia over the summer including the likes of Brentford, Bayer Leverkusen, and Al-Ahli.
Should Postecoglou be appointed as expected then his first game in charge could come against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in Saturday's lunch-time kick-off.
