Angers have moved to bolster their attack for 2026-27, securing a season-long loan for RC Lens winger Anthony Bermont on Tuesday. The club said in a statement that the 21-year-old joins for the coming campaign. The deal contains no option to buy.
He arrives from Lens, recent Coupe de France winners after beating Nice 3-1. A U20 international, he has eight caps and one goal.
Bermont made 10 first-team appearances for Lens last season as his development continued.
He previously spent 2024-25 on loan at Annecy in Ligue 2, making 33 appearances with two goals and one assist.
He now links up with Stéphane Gili, recently appointed as Angers head coach, joining a new project in Anjou. The left winger is the club’s second signing of the window after experienced goalkeeper Anthony Lopes, who has signed at least until 2028.
