Angers weight up Téji Savanier move | OneFootball

SCO Angers are weighing up a move for Téji Savanier (34), according to a report from Mohamed Toubache-Ter. 

Savanier arrived at Montpellier HSC back in 2019. He has captained the side but was relieved of that role during the club’s relegation season (2024/25). Last season, in Ligue 2, he made 29 appearances in all competitions. He scored six goals and registered four assists in that time.

He could not help La Paillade return to Ligue 1 last season, however, he may yet return to France’s top flight. As per Toubache-Ter, Angers are weighing up a move for the playmaker, who is out of contract with Montpellier. 

He would bring further experience to Le Sco. Savanier has made 200 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring 48 goals and registering 44 assists in that time. The former France youth international has also been linked with a move to Ligue 2 side En Avant Guingamp.
