Angileri scores first Corinthians goal as 2026 scorers list grows after Bahia draw | OneFootball

Fabrizio Angileri finally scored his first Corinthians goal in the 1-1 draw at Bahia, more than a year and 54 games into his spell, adding his name to the club’s 2026 scorers list.

He started in place of Matheus Bidu, who felt pubic discomfort and did not travel to Salvador, according to Meu Timao. Around seven minutes in, he took André Luiz’s pass near the edge of the area, beat his marker and drilled into the right corner. Goalkeeper Ronaldo got a touch but could not keep it out.

The Argentine became Corinthians’ 21st different scorer this year, joining Matheuzinho, Matheus Pereira, Vitinho, André Ramalho, Gui Negão, João Pedro Tchoca and Memphis Depay on one goal.

Rodrigo Garro, Matheus Bidu, Raniele, Gabriel Paulista, Dieguinho, Jesse Lingard, Zakaria Labyad, Kaio César and Kayke have two. Breno Bidon has three, Gustavo Henrique four, André Luiz five, and Yuri Alberto leads with eight.

The draw moved Corinthians to 28 points but results elsewhere hit their standing. Wins for Botafogo over Cruzeiro and Atlético-MG over Palmeiras dropped them two places to ninth at the end of round 20.
