Real Sociedad will play their opening two 2026/27 La Liga fixtures away from home because expansion works are planned at Anoeta.

According to Diario Vasco, the project will begin once the competition has finished.

The work is scheduled to be carried out during the summer.

The redevelopment will add 2,000 seats.

Total capacity will rise to 42,247.
