Wolves fell to a third successive defeat at home to Tottenham, and late on Molineux rang to anti-Fosun chants as Rob Edwards and the players were booed. Premier League relegation had been confirmed earlier in the week, with four games remaining.
Wolves hosted struggling Spurs and, according to ExpressAndStar.com, the match was decided by a scrappy second-half goal for the visitors after the hosts had their moments.
Home fans largely stuck with the side until the closing stages, when chants accused the owners of having sold the team and urged them to sell the club.
Calls for Fosun to go followed, and at full time a banner critical of the owners appeared in the South Bank.
Edwards completed his customary lap of appreciation but was booed, as were the players.
It came after poor second-half displays in heavy defeats by West Ham and Leeds, and amid a long decline that has seen key players sold. It had been a while since supporters were this vocal inside the ground, though some had praised a 25 per cent season-ticket reduction announced this week.
