A man, who appeared to be a Real Madrid supporter, was ejected from the Santiago-Bernabeu on Wednesday night after making several Nazi salutes during the Champions League play-off second leg against Benfica.
The club said in a statement that it condemns such gestures and expressions that incite violence and hatred in sport and in society, adding that it had asked its disciplinary commission to open an immediate expulsion procedure.

Television cameras picked out the individual in the home section shortly after kick-off.
Club security located him within minutes of the footage airing and removed him from the stadium immediately.
The match finished 2-1.
