Earlier this week, the RFEF Competitions Committee handed Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham a two-match suspension for his red card against CA Osasuna last weekend.
The England international was shown a direct red card by referee Munuera Montero for verbal protests, with the match official noting in his official report that the midfielder yelled ‘F*** you’ at him.
Real Madrid argued that he did not insult the referee and instead shouted ‘F*** off’ but their arguments were not heard as the Competitions Committee claimed there was not enough evidence supporting the claims.
As such, Bellingham was handed a two-match ban, ruling him out against Girona and Real Betis, but Los Blancos immediately lodged an appeal to get the suspension overturned.
However, as reported by AS, the RFEF Appeals Committee has upheld the original ruling and dismissed Real Madrid’s appeal, meaning Bellingham will be suspended for two games.

Real Madrid attempted to overturn the decision by appealing to the committee, arguing that the midfielder’s dismissal against Osasuna was unjust.
Los Blancos based their appeal on video evidence, which was submitted to the RFEF even before the sanction was confirmed.
However, these materials were disregarded, as were the expert reports provided by the club, signed by Jeremy Freeman, a highly regarded forensic lip-reading expert, and David Hernanz de Lucas, an English linguistics specialist.
But, the Appeals Committee has upheld the initial ruling meaning Bellingham will now miss the match against Girona on Sunday and the game against Real Betis on Sunday, 2 March.
