Boca edged Talleres 1-0 in Zone A of the 2026 Apertura, Adam Bareiro scoring as Tomás Aranda starred. The win stretched Boca's domestic unbeaten run against Talleres to eight and moved them, for now, into third.

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Claudio Úbeda's side improved after a flat first half, with centre-backs Nicolás Figal and Marco Pellegrino outstanding. Figal had a header chalked off for offside and later cleared off the line.

Pellegrino split the lines to find Aranda, who released Miguel Merentiel to square for Bareiro to finish, moments after he had skimmed a shot wide. Merentiel registered his 19th assist for Boca.
