Liverpool’s record-breaking transfer campaign remains in full flow. Over £290m has been spent on players such as Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leoni and Giorgi Mamardashvili.
And on the flip side several players have departed as the Reds’ sporting director Richard Hughes attempts to balance the books.

Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez lead the departures in terms of transfer fees - but Liverpool have also lost Jarell Quansah, Ben Doak, Caoimhin Kelleher, Tyler Morton, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Nat Phillips.
Furthermore we could also see Harvey Elliott and Kostas Tsimikas leave before the window closes - while deals remain live for both Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi.
Right now however the Liverpool squad looks a little unbalanced.
The alterations have left Arne Slot short of a forward or two and if things don’t change then the load is set to be high for Hugo Ekitike, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo.
While Isak remains the priority target, Liverpool have also got interest in ANOTHER world-class forward according to reports.
Rodrygo, 24, has been linked with the Reds even before moving from Santos to Real Madrid back in 2019.
Liverpool missed out on the Brazil forward back then but the time could be right to strike a deal for the two-time Champions League winner.
The versatile winger has slipped down the pecking order under Xabi Alonso - not even featuring for a single minute during Real’s season opener against Osasuna on Tuesday.
Transfer talk around Rodrygo has ramped up in recent days with Manchester City named as the most likely candidates for his signature.
He is under contract until 2028 - and Real are now prepared to accept between €70m and €80m for Rodrygo rather than the initial €100m quoted.

A new report in Fichajes is now claiming that Liverpool have LEAPT into the race for Rodrygo and that head coach Arne Slot has given his consent to the signing.
“The Dutch coach gave his approval and the English club sees Rodrygo as a reliable replacement for Luis Díaz , who left Anfield to sign for Bayern Munich,” the report reads.
“The Whites, who initially demanded 100 million, are now reportedly willing to negotiate for a figure between 70 and 80 million.”
Rodrygo played most of his football from the right last season but is equally comfortable on the left as well as in a duo.
His acquisition would therefore provide Slot with some much-needed adaptability in the attack as he plots a defence of the Premier League title.
