Arsenal agree fee to sign Christos Tzolis | OneFootball

Arsenal are set to sign Greek winger Christos Tzolis for a fee of £34 million according to reports.

Tzolis has had another excellent season with Club Brugge in Belgium, raking up 22 goals and making 29 assists in 52 games across all competitions.

According to the reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic, the Gunners are close to finalising the deal that will see them reinforce in attack with Leandro Trossard leaving to join Turkish side Besiktas.

Should the deal be completed as expected then this will not be the first taste of English football for Tzolis. The forward came through the academy at PAOK before making the move to join Norwich City in 2011.

Tzolis went on to play 30 games for the Canaries across two seasons, scoring three times and making two assists. However, he rediscovered his form following a move to Fortuna Düsseldorf and has since shone in Belgian football.
