Juventus are keen to tie Yildiz down to a long-term deal. Though negotiations have so far failed to find a breakthrough with the winger. The Italian side are aware from interest across Europe, with Arsenal and Chelsea joining Barcelona in being alert to the situation.
Juventus want to reward Yildiz for his emergence as a key figure in Turin. The 20-year-old was named in the Serie A Team of the Season in 2024/25 and has started the new season in terrific form.
After finishing as the joint-leading scorer at the Club World Cup in the summer, Yildiz has opened the campaign with six goals and assists in eight games for Juventus.
Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that Juventus are prepared to increase his current €1.7m-per-season salary to around €6m, reflecting his increasing importance.
Yildiz wore the captain’s armband earlier this season and is viewed as the figurehead of the club’s rebuild. Though Yildiz, who is contracted until 2029, is happy in Turin, he wants his new deal to reflect his current influence on the side.
