In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo. It has been revealed that the Gunners have set their sights on the Brazilian wide player as they look to strengthen their squad next year.
Rodrygo has struggled to earn regular first-team starts at the Madrid club but has managed to produce a few impressive displays for them in the final third. The Brazilian talent has scored one goal and picked up two assists in 18 matches for Los Blancos this season across multiple competitions.
The 24-year-old has caught the eye at times inside the opponent’s half as he is averaging 3.73 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga. He has kept 37.5% of his attempts on target. Rodrygo has even distributed the ball relatively well based on his pass completion rate of 83.5% in the Spanish top tier (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for the Gunners to sign him on the cheap next year.

Rodrygo is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create the odd chance for his teammates in the final third and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Brazilian sensation can even chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. He is primarily a right-winger but can also function as a left-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if asked to do so.
We can expect Rodrygo to bring more goals and creativity to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s attack. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming years.
At 24, Rodrygo has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Gunners to pursue this January or at the end of this campaign. However, only time will tell whether he can adapt to the physical style and high intensity of the .
