In a recent report, TuttoJuve revealed that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Juventus youngster Kenan Yildiz. It has been mentioned that the Gunners would have to compete with Manchester United in the race to land the Turkish talent next year.

Yildiz’s Impressive Start To This Serie A Campaign

Yildiz has enjoyed a good run of form at the Turin club this season after he put in a series of impressive displays as the focal point of their attack. The 20-year-old has registered two goals and picked up four assists in eight appearances for Juventus during this campaign in various competitions.

The Turkish wide player has proven his worth in the final third as he averaged 2.10 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He has kept 41.7% of his attempts on target. Yildiz has even been accurate when distributing the ball in the opponent’s half, based on his pass completion rate of 79.4% in the Italian first division (stats via fbref.com).

Yildiz is under contract at the Italian club until the summer of 2029. Therefore, Arsenal would have to make a big offer if they are serious about recruiting him next year.

Arsenal Are Keeping Tabs On Yildiz: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Yildiz can find some space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates to find the back of the net.

The Turkish sensation is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. He can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. The Juventus talent is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also operate as a right-winger or as a centre-forward if required. However, it remains to be seen whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League.

We can expect Yildiz to inject more quality into Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He has what it takes to serve as a good rotational piece in the North London club’s match-day squad.

At 20, Yildiz is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future. Thus, Arteta would be wise to get a deal over the line for him this January or next summer.
