Since Luis Campos and Luis Enrique took over, PSG have focused on securing young French talent who would have otherwise left for other major European clubs.
Over the last few transfer windows, the Parisians have secured Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué, and Lucas Chevalier. Nonetheless, next year could be another opportunity where the Parisians secure another French talent.
Reports in France say Arsenal have opened talks to bring Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi to North London in January, putting them ahead of both Chelsea and PSG as the transfer window approaches.
Bouaddi has built a strong reputation as one of the top young talents in France, drawing attention from clubs across Europe. The 18-year-old stepped into Lille’s senior squad at 16 and has already totaled 72 first-team appearances for the club.

RMC Sport reports that Arsenal have stepped up their pursuit of Bouaddi, with sporting director Andrea Berta already speaking with the midfielder’s camp. The outlet adds that both Arsenal and Chelsea are prepared to put forward €45 million, or roughly £39.3 million, for the 18-year-old once the window opens.
Lille plan to hold on to Bouaddi in January and are already discussing a contract extension, with his current deal set to run through 2027.
