Jakub Kiwior’s preferred destination has been revealed as speculation continues to surround the future of the Poland international. The Gunners are expected to offload several fringe players before the end of the transfer window following a spectacular summer spending spree that has already seen seven players arrive – with the latest being Eberechi Eze who was unveiled at the Emirates on Saturday.

Key departures are anticipated across the squad and Kiwior is no stranger to speculation, although his situation is unique. Arsenal are not actively looking to sell him, but a departure still looks likely with multiple clubs circling the central defender. His next destination remains uncertain, but it reportedly will not be in the Premier League if he leaves Arsenal.

Kiwior would prefer move abroad

According to a report by the Hand of Arsenal on X, the player would prefer to leave the English top flight if he is to move this summer. This comes after Crystal Palace were recently linked, viewing him as a potential replacement for Marc Guehi and even preparing an approach to secure his signature.

However, AC Milan and FC Porto have also been strongly linked in recent weeks, with reports suggesting Porto may now have moved ahead in the race. Despite this, an agreement has not yet been reached.

Why Arsenal may look to keep him

Arsenal would ideally like to keep hold of the Poland international. Despite the arrival of Cristhian Mosquera, the Gunners will be light at the back if Kiwior departs. Apart from Riccardo Calafiori, he is the only natural cover for Gabriel Magalhães and has already shown he is more than capable of filling in, as demonstrated by his performances at the end of last season.

In my view, Arsenal should keep hold of the Poland international, but if the player pushes for a move then it will be difficult to stand in his way.
