Noni Madueke was seen leaving Wembley with a brace on his knee after going off injured in England’s friendly against Uruguay.

Madueke started the game but was taken off before half-time after landing awkwardly following a heavy challenge.

It is unclear as of yet how serious the injury is or whether it could keep him out for a spell at a crucial time of the season, with Arsenal still going for three trophies.

Several Arsenal players withdrew from international duty due to injury worries prior to the international break – including Gabriel, Leandro Trossard, William Saliba, Ebere Eze and Jurrien Timber.
