Arsenal face a big problem ahead of the January transfer window.
Manager Mikel Arteta has to act when the January transfer window opens to have any chance of guiding his side to silverware this season.
Arsenal need to sign a proven forward, with their stuttering attack having become far too predictable.
The funds are there, it’s just a matter of whether Arteta is able to find the right man for the job.
According to a report from Il Mattino, Napoli are keen to sign Jhon Duran from Aston Villa in January.
That’s bad news for Arsenal, who have previously been linked with him. He possesses blistering pace and incredible movement. He is also an elite finisher.
Duran has bagged 11 goals in 24 games for Aston Villa this season.
It was recently claimed by Antena 2 that Unai Emery is prepared to sell the Colombia international in the January transfer window.
With Napoli chasing Duran, Arsenal must act fast if they want to bring the Villa front-man to London.
He’s valued at around £40 million, according to the Times, and he would take Arsenal to a whole new level with his unpredictability.
