Arsenal have been hit by another major injury blow ahead of the start of the title run-in.

The Gunners return to Premier League action at Leicester on Saturday as they bid to hunt down leaders Liverpool.

But Arsenal, who also have a Champions League last-16 tie on the horizon, have been dealt a huge blow after Kai Havertz suffered an injury during their warm-weather training camp in Dubai.

After another setback for Mikel Arteta, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal injuries

Kai Havertz

Havertz sustained a hamstring injury in training on Monday and there are fears the German could miss the rest of the season.

Losing Havertz is a disastrous injury blow to Arsenal in attack.

After the club did not recruit in the January transfer window, it left Havertz as the only fit senior striker at the club.

Arsenal have not commented publicly on Havertz’s injury.

Arteta will provide an update on his fitness on Friday morning at his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend’s trip to Leicester.

Potential return date: Unknown

Gabriel Martinelli

Gabriel Martinelli injured his hamstring in the defeat at Newcastle.

Arteta confirmed Martinelli was set for a scan and reports suggest the Brazilian is facing more than a month out.

That would mean Martinelli would miss Premier League fixtures against Leicester, West Ham and Nottingham Forest, and make his a doubt for games against Manchester United on March 9 and Chelsea on March 16.

Martinelli is also a doubt for the first leg of Arsenal’s Champions League last-16, whoever they are drawn against.

Potential return date: March/April 2025

Recovering: Saka travelled with the Arsenal squad to Dubai

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka underwent hamstring surgery in December and has not featured since, with Arsenal fearing he could be ruled out until March.

Saka was included in the squad who travelled to Dubai, with Arteta inviting injury players on the trip to continue their rehab there.

Fresh reports over the weekend claimed Saka is due back at the start of March.

The Gunners are said to be targeting their Champions League last 16 first leg on either March 4 or 5, or their trip to Manchester United on March 9.

But Arteta is unlikely to take any risks by rushing Saka back too soon.

Potential return date: March

Back: Ben White has returned to Arsenal training

Ben White

Ben White has not featured since undergoing surgery on a knee injury back in November.

But the defender returned to Arsenal training in Dubai and there is a hope he will be able to feature against Leicester this weekend.

His return would be a major boost for Arsenal ahead of a key run of games in February, with Arsenal facing big games against West Ham and Nottingham Forest.

Potential return date: vs Leicester on February 15

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Takehiro Tomiyasu could be forced to undergo surgery for a second time in a bid to resolve the knee injury that has ruined his season.

Tomiyasu has played just six minutes for the Gunners this season and the club are now considering various options, including surgery, in a bid to get the defender back to fitness, though no decision has yet been made.

Potential return date: Unknown

Gabriel Jesus

Gabriel Jesus is not expected to play again this season after undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury sustained in January.

Potential return date: Late 2025
