Arsenal reportedly hold interest in Aston Villa and England defender Ezri Konsa.

The Telegraph say the Gunners hold “tentative interest” in the 28-year-old, who is valued at around £60m, but Villa are likely to resist selling him along with team-mate Morgan Rogers, who Arsenal are also keen on.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s spending spree looks set to continue following confirmation of the signing of midfielder Matheus Fernandes.

The Independent say Spurs are preparing a move for Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, who has emerged as the club’s leading attacking target.

Spurs are reportedly willing to spend around £80m on the highly rated 20-year-old, with Rafael Leao and Savinho also featuring on their shortlist of attacking targets.

The Indepenent also claim Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford is a target for Tottenham, who are set to bolster their midfield further with the addition Sandro Tonali in a £100m deal.

In an interview with Sky in Italy ahead of his move from Newcastle, Tonali said: “De Zerbi played a huge role in this decision… I don’t give him all the credit, but he deserves a lot.

“It was also a lifestyle and family choice. We had been in Newcastle for three years and last year our lives changed – our son was born, so we decided to completely change our lives.

“We had an agreement with Newcastle and we parted on very good terms, we talked about it every day.

“They wanted the best for me and we wanted to do the best [deal] for Newcastle, so once you leave like this, it’s different. We’re all happy and I’m ready for this new adventure.”

Elsewhere, Spanish newspaper Marca say Manchester City are weighing up a move for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. City have already added to their midfield with the club-record signing of Elliot Anderson for £116m.

Everton have completed the signing of midfielder Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough.

Leeds have made another offer for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles, Sky Sports say.

And Newcastle have agreed a deal to sign Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Touré, according to various reports.
