Arsenal are interested in signing Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers in the summer transfer window.

But The Telegraph report the Midlands club have no intention of parting with their prized asset.

Rogers enjoyed an excellent 2025-26 campaign, making 17 goal contributions in 37 league appearances to help his side qualify for Champions League.

He also helped his team to Europa League glory, scoring one goal and assisting another in the final against Freiburg.

Rogers is now part of the England squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Villa are aware of the growing interest in the 23-year-old, but they hope to resist offers for the player this summer.

Mikel Arteta led Arsenal to their first Premier League title in 22 years and also came close to adding the Champions League trophy.

The Gunners spent £250 million on new recruits last summer, but the Spanish boss wants his club to show more ambition in the transfer market.

Arteta has his sights on Rogers, as he admires the forward’s versatility and availability.

The 23-year-old has mainly operated as a central attacking midfielder for Villa but has played as a left winger.

He is also capable of playing on the right flank.

Rogers has been very reliable for Villa since joining from Middlesbrough in 2024.

He has made more than 50 club appearances in each of the last two seasons for the Lions.

Rogers would be an excellent acquisition for Arsenal but only a huge offer could tempt Villa to sell him.
