Arsenal are chasing a deal to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid this summer.
According to Spanish outlet AS, several Arsenal players already consider the Brazilian’s arrival a ‘done deal’.
Vinicius rejected Madrid’s most recent offer of €22 million per year to sign a new contract.
The 26-year-old wants €30m annually to extend his stay, but Los Blancos have made it clear they will not go beyond their latest offer.
Vinicius is one of the best attackers in the world, known for his pace, trickery and goal threat.
Since joining Madrid in 2018, he has bagged 128 goals and 100 assists in 375 appearances across all competitions.
The talented forward has helped his side win 14 major trophies, including three La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies.
However, it is looking increasingly likely he will join Arsenal before the end of the summer transfer window.
Vinicius has entered the final year of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu. There is currently a significant gap between the two parties.
Arsenal have already signed Christos Tzolis, but further attacking reinforcements are needed. Both Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli are expected to leave the Emirates Stadium.
