The major question mark going into Saturday night’s UEFA Champions League final for Arsenal has been about who will play at right-back, in order to counter the threat posed by Paris Saint-Germain’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. L’Équipe understands that it is Dutchman Jurrien Timber who will get the nod in Budapest.
Timber is expected to start over other options such as Piero Hincapié and Cristhian Mosquera. Ben White is, of course, injured and will miss the final this evening, Arsenal’s first UCL final since 2006.
L’Équipe also understands that it will be Myles Lewis-Skelly who will get the nod in midfield, ahead of Spain international Martin Zubimendi. On the left wing, it is Leandro Trossard who is expected to start over Brazil international Gabriel Martinelli.
