The Arsenal quartet won the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2024-25, and then all featured at the 2025 Women’s Euros – with Lionesses Williamson, Kelly and Russo finishing on the winning side, over Mariona’s Spain.

Chelsea also have a quartet of players shortlisted after completing the domestic treble, with Sandy Baltimore, Nathalie Bjorn, Lucy Bronze and Lauren James making up their four.

The Women’s Super League is represented well in the Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper shortlist, with Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton, Brighton and Hove Albion’s Chiamaka Nnadozie and Manchester United’s Phallon Tullis-Joyce nominated. Former Chelsea keepers Ann-Katrin Berger – now at Gotham FC in the NWSL – and Christiane Endler – now at Olympique Lyonnais – are also listed, along with England’s Anna Moorhouse of Orlando Pride.

Arsenal boss Renee Slegers and Chelsea head coach Sonia Bompastor are both nominated for the Best FIFA Women’s Coach, along with England manager Sarina Wiegman.
