Arsenal are reportedly prepared to make Vinicius Junior the highest-paid player in the club’s history.
The Telegraph claim the Gunners would offer the Real Madrid winger a contract worth around £400,000 a week, although Sky Sports report the Spanish giants are due to hold further talks over a new deal with the Brazilian this week.
Meanwhile, AS say Vinicius’ priority remains staying at the Bernabéu.
Another player attracting interest from the Premier League is Bradley Barcola. The Times report that Paris Saint-Germain have placed a £145 million valuation on the France international, with both Arsenal and Liverpool monitoring his situation. The fee would make Barcola one of the most expensive signings in football history.
Arsenal continue to be linked with Bruno Guimaraes, with talkSPORT reporting the north London club are ready to accelerate talks over a move for the Newcastle midfielder.
Away from the Premier League, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that Real Madrid are expected to complete the signing of highly-rated winger Yan Diomande, while Sky Sports says personal terms have already been agreed with the 19-year-old.
PSG were believed to be leading the race for the 19-year-old, but have since pulled out of the deal.
Elsewhere, Tottenham are leading the race to sign Manchester City winger Savinho, according to The Sun, while The Daily Mail say Chelsea will demand a significant transfer fee for Pedro Neto amid interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and clubs in Saudi Arabia.
