The transfer window continues to gather pace across Europe with Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid all linked with significant moves ahead of the new season.
According to the Telegraph, Arsenal remain admirers of Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers, although Villa have no intention of selling the England international. The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign and is understood to be attracting interest from a number of leading clubs.
The Gunners are also monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt full-back Nathaniel Brown. The Athletic reports Arsenal and Bayern Munich are both interested in the highly-rated 22-year-old Germany international after his impressive performances in the Bundesliga.
Another player attracting Premier League attention is West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes. Teamtalk claims the Portugal Under-21 international has been cleared to leave the London club following enquiries from Arsenal and Manchester United, while Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be monitoring developments.
Manchester United continue to be linked with defensive reinforcements. Corriere dello Sport reports the club have scouted Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu, with the Serie A side potentially needing to sell players after missing out on Champions League qualification.
United have also reportedly completed a £38million deal for Atalanta midfielder Ederson, who is expected to sign a four-year contract subject to a medical.
Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford‘s future remains one of the biggest stories of the summer. According to The i, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick, sporting director Deco and club president Joan Laporta are all keen on securing the England forward on a permanent deal. Bayern Munich, Newcastle United, Tottenham and Aston Villa are also credited with interest in the 28-year-old.
Liverpool are facing a pivotal summer after reports emerged claiming the club have reached a verbal agreement with Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola to replace Arne Slot.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports Germany reports RB Leipzig remain relaxed about interest in teenage winger Yan Diomande from Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, believing the 19-year-old will stay in Germany and sign an improved contract.
There are also growing doubts over the future of Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate. Sky Sports News understands the France international is increasingly likely to join Real Madrid following the expiration of his Liverpool contract.
Real Madrid are also moving closer to strengthening at right-back. The Athletic reports the Spanish giants have held talks with Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries and view the Dutch international as their preferred option. Multiple reports suggest Real are prepared to trigger the 30-year-old’s £17.3million release clause.
Chelsea and Manchester City are both being linked with Juventus wing-back Andrea Cambiaso. Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Premier League clubs are interested in the Italy international, while Barcelona are also monitoring the situation.
Juventus themselves are busy exploring several options. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Bournemouth forward Justin Kluivert has emerged as an alternative target should a move for Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz fail to materialise.
Sky Italia reports the Turin club are also in discussions over bringing Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani back to Serie A following his loan spell at Tottenham, while Juventus are considering moves for either Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez or Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario.
Elsewhere, Everton are understood to be relaxed about growing interest in Iliman Ndiaye from Manchester United and other clubs, with the Senegal international contracted until 2029. The Toffees have also revived their long-standing interest in Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney.
Brighton are in advanced talks to sign AIK winger Zadok Yohanna, while Sheffield United have approached Manchester City over a potential return for midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Away from player recruitment, managerial movement is also gathering momentum. Kieran McKenna is expected to feature prominently on Fulham’s shortlist should Marco Silva depart, with reports suggesting the Portuguese coach is set to take charge of Benfica on a three-year contract.
As always during transfer season, plenty of these stories remain at the rumour stage, but the market is beginning to heat up as clubs across Europe prepare for another busy summer.
